The Team

Kate Disley

Kate is an experienced sports rehabilitator and soft tissue therapist.

She has over 18 years of experience working in clinical and sport settings, across a variety of sports.
Since graduating in 2004, Kate has worked with elite runners, rugby teams and many other athletes as well as non-sporting individuals. This experience has allowed her to build an in-depth knowledge and understanding of sports and injury management.
With a passion for learning, she has undertaken an MSc in Sports Rehab, in which she will graduate later this year to become a member of BASRaT (British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers). With a keen interest in biomechanics and running performance, Kate has based her MSc dissertation in this area using the Runeasi technology we use at Momentum.
She is qualified in APPI Pilates and teaches classes for back pain as well as high-level performance classes for runners, cyclists and triathletes.
After playing elite Rugby Union at National and International level and at Wasps RFC, Kate hung up her boots after ending her career in the North East at Novos RFC. Having suffered her share of injuries she has a huge amount of compassion and understanding when treating sports injuries and a passion for getting the best outcomes.
Kate enjoys the challenge of working with people from a range of backgrounds from elite sports to those dealing with more chronic conditions. Whether you want to get back to marathon running, playing rugby for your local team, or walking the dog or escaping to the hills, Kate will work with you to tailor a full return to sport rehabilitation programme.
