Teleri’s love of sport started from a young age competing in swimming, running, hockey and tennis to name a few, spending time in America coaching tennis and as a ski instructor.
Her career in coaching started in 2005, alongside gaining experience as a coach she followed an educational path to increase her knowledge in Strength and Conditioning, earning a Masters (MSc) degree from Edinburgh University in 2007 following completion of her BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science at Northumbria University.
Her career to date has seen her head up Strength and Conditioning at Leeds Met Carnegie for all sports with professional and amateur athletes, for the English Institute of Sport and for Sport England. She has vast experience working with national and international sports men and women and working as a consultant coach for England Golf, British Fencing, the LTA, England Women’s FA, England Women’s RFU, England Badminton amongst others. Athletes Teleri has worked personally with include members of the Women’s Rugby World Cup winners’ squad and members of England Ladies Football team. More recently in her career she worked specifically in Youth Athletic Development, an area which Teleri has huge passion for and continues to enjoy offering the opportunities to train young talent here at Momentum.
Away from coaching Teleri loves spending time with her two small children, dog and, of course husband, representing Morpeth Ladies 1st XI Hockey at the weekends.
